Bending is an essential step in the fabrication of most stainless steel products.

We have a range of state-of-the-art CNC press brakes capable of quickly and consistently bending sheet and plate.

With a max capacity of 600 tonnes and 4 metres in length, we can cope with Stainless Steel up to 25mm thick. (dependent on the length of the bend)

• We offer specialist welding procedures in accordance with the requirements of UKCA Approved Structural Steelwork to BS EN1090-1:2009 and A1:2011 EXC2.
• Specializing in Stainless steel MIG and TIG welding we are approved for procedures EN 15614-1. Welder qualifications approved in ISO 9606-1.
• Stainless UK is a UKCA and UKNI certified fabricator to Execution Class 2 for fabricated products.

Stainless has 5 thread rolling machines with the capacity to roll up to M76 in high tensile stainless steel.

We regularly thread fully threaded bars up to 6 meters long and end thread stainless tie bars.

Thread rolling is the preferred method for producing strong, smooth, precise, and uniform external thread forms.

The cold working of the surface increases the tensile strength of the metal worked, and static tensile tests have frequently recorded increases on the order of 10% in the breaking strength of the threaded bar.

Stainless UK have three bandsaws suitable for a range of requirments including:

• An automatic two-way mitre-cutting bandsaw (-45° to +60°) fully NC-controlled machine with a max capacity of 300mm diameter.
• Manual one-way mitre-cutting bandsaw to +60° suitable for more intricate work with a max capacity of 250mm.
• Automatic horizontal bandsaw for straight cuts with a max capacity of 200mm.

Stainless UK can cut and bend stainless steel ribbed bar up to 40mm diameter to shape codes within the BS8666 standard.
